General Tourism Promotion
To promote and develop responsible, sustainable, and inclusive tourism in India, to encourage eco-tourism, cultural tourism, and rural tourism, to create awareness about heritage conservation and environmental protection and to support local communities through tourism-based livelihood programs, without any profit motive.
Cultural & Heritage Tourism Promotion
To preserve, promote, and develop India’s rich cultural and natural heritage through tourism, to organize heritage walks, educational tours, and cultural exchange programs, and to facilitate research and awareness on responsible tourism practices for public benefit.
Eco & Sustainable Tourism Promotion
To promote sustainable tourism and environmental conservation, to develop ecofriendly tourism models in rural and natural areas, to educate tourists and communities about environmental protection, and to collaborate with government and non-government organizations for eco-tourism projects for social welfare.
Community-Based Tourism Development
To promote community-based tourism as a means of livelihood generation, cultural preservation, and rural development, to provide training and capacity building in tourism and hospitality, and to assist local artisans, guides, and entrepreneurs in developing tourism-friendly enterprises.
Agriculture and Farm tourism Development
Agriculture and Farm tourism Blends travel with farming, letting visitors stay on farms, participate in activities like harvesting, milking cows, and learn about rural life and food production, offering farmers new income, boosting local economies, and connecting people with nature and sustainable practices.
